Permanant collections encompass the history of Zeeland and more.

New! 'Hands On' aproach allows the children and their parents to explore the museum in a brand new way. Parents will be given a printed guide to 'Hands On' exhibits. For example, in the bank, children write a check, use an embosser & adding machine, use weight scales in the grocery, try on Dutch and military clothing and much more. The older people enjoy the history while the youngsters are actively involved.

My hydrant.jpg

Be a good citizen and adopt a fire hydrant in your neighborhood. Keep it clear and ready for action. I've been taking care of one for 4 years now and it's not even in front of my house. However, it will be the one the Fire Dept. will use if I need them. I'd rather they fight the fire and not waste valuable time trying to find the hydrant under a snowbank. So grab that shovel and go dig, it feels good.
